CIS Day planned for Nov. 18th in Mt. Pleasant

The Communities In Schools group is coordinating †?CIS DAY?†to raise funds to support the CIS Believes In Dreams Christmas Project and other CIS activities and services.† Last year with this project, we served over 1,400 students and their siblings for Christmas and the numbers will be even higher this year.

Please join us on the square in Mount Pleasant on November 18th†from 9:00 am until 2:00†pm and help support Communities In Schools!

  • The pancake breakfast will begin at 9:00 at Jo?s.† You can purchase tickets when you get there.

  • We have vendors set up from 9:30 ? 2:00 so you can get some Christmas shopping done while you support CIS.

  • The Goat Roping will begin at 10:00 at Caldwell Park.

  • \t

  • Laura?s Best of the Best Bake Sale, by Laura?s To Go Girls, will start at 10:30 and feature some well-known bakers from our area.

  • \t

  • For lunch, pick up rib plates with beans and potato salad at Laura?s.† Tickets will be pre-sold. If you want to purchase tickets or help us by selling tickets, just call the CIS office and we will deliver them to you.

  • We have very cute fund raiser t shirts that will be available for purchase that day and they can be purchased at print works or Diamond T Outfitters for several weeks after the event.

  • Some of the activities for kids include a goat ribbon pulling at Caldwell Park and pumpkin decorating on the square.
