Why did you choose to attend NTCC?†I wanted to stay local, but also, I wanted to go to a community college. Because I received an honors scholarship to attend, my financial burden was minimized.
Why is your major appealing to you?†I have always enjoyed math and also connecting or assembling parts together.† In addition, my father does this type of work, so I understand what a career in engineering will involve.
What are your plans after NTCC?†I plan to transfer to the University of Texas at Tyler to earn a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering.
What are your career goals at this point?†I want to qualify for a professional engineering certification and become a licensed professional engineer.
How has your NTCC experience helped you achieve your goals?†My first year at NTCC has given me a great education and provided many wonderful leadership opportunities. The class sizes are ideal, and the professors are very supportive for students to achieve their educational goals.
