Industrial Technology Training Center kicks off NTCA classes

NTCA class

Northeast Texas Community College’s Industrial Technology Training Center is excited to welcome students this fall as part of the very first Northeast Texas Career Alliance (NTCA) classes! This new partnership brings together Chapel Hill CISD, Paul Pewitt CISD, Hughes Springs CISD, and Daingerfield CISD to give students the chance to explore careers in Industrial Technology while still in high school.

Since this is the very first year of NTCA, students are beginning as freshmen and will continue in the program through their senior year, gaining more skills and opportunities each step of the way.  Each year, more students will be added, helping the program grow and reach even more future graduates.

The NTCA pilot program is all about opening doors for local students.  By combining classroom learning, hands-on training and real-world experiences with area employers, students can start building the skills and confidence they’ll need to succeed after graduation.

Pathways offered through NTCA include Industrial Maintenance, Programming & Software Development, and Business Management: Logistics.  Students also have opportunities to earn Level 1 certificates and microcredentials, making them career-ready and giving them a head start toward college or the workforce.

We’re proud to team up with our local schools and industry partners to create stronger career pathways for the next generation.
