The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Foundation, on behalf of the NTCC Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) Program, was recently awarded a $5000 Literacy Opportunity Fund Grant to support ongoing adult education services to help students improve their literacy skills and achieve their educational and career goals. Additionally, the funds will help to expand educational resources and support student success. About Northeast Texas Community College Adult Education and Literacy
The Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) Program at Northeast Texas Community College is a grant-based program funded by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). AEL services include Adult Basic Education (ABE), General Educational Development (GED) and English as a Second Language (ESL) preparation. Classes are offered through face-to-face and/or online instruction and at no cost to students.
