Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) is preparing to host its annual Scare Affair on Saturday, October 25, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the NTCC campus. The event, now a long-standing community favorite, offers an evening of family-friendly Halloween fun featuring games, candy, and activities for guests of all ages.
This year’s Scare Affair will be the largest to date, featuring 45 booths sponsored by NTCC student organizations. Each booth will offer themed games, prizes, and other festive attractions. A detailed event map is below to assist guests with planning their visit.
For the first time, NTCC is offering pre-sale tickets for the event. Tickets may be purchased for 50 cents each through Friday, October 24, at noon, allowing guests to avoid lines on the evening of the event. Pre-sale tickets may be picked up in the NTCC Student Services Building or purchased online by clicking here.
With the possibility of inclement weather in the forecast, NTCC officials are monitoring conditions closely. If a postponement becomes necessary, an official announcement will be made no later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 24. In that event, Scare Affair 2025 will be rescheduled for Friday, October 31, 2025.
“Scare Affair has become one of our most anticipated annual events,” said Ja’Quacy Minter, NTCC Director of Student Development. “Our student organizations have worked diligently to make this year’s celebration bigger and better than ever, and we look forward to welcoming the community for a safe and enjoyable evening.”
