ATI RN FUNDAMENTALS FAQs

Where do I find my scores?
You must log in to ATI website at www.atitesting.com to obtain your test scores. If you cannot remember your username/password or if you do not see your test scores, you must contact ATI at the phone number listed on their web site.


Why do I need to take the ATI RN Fundamentals Test?
Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) has made the ATI RN Fundamentals test a requirement for any Vocational Nurse (VN) who applies to our VN to AN Transition Program.


Registration and Payment
All individuals preparing to take the ATI RN Fundamentals test must first create an ATI account.  To do so, visit  www.atitesting.com and click “Create an Account” (follow the screen prompts). Type in Northeast TX CC AH as the institution.  You only need to register once, and you will use the same account throughout the program.  You’ll need your ATI username and password to take the online test.  Please bring this information with you to the testing center.

What is the cost of the exam?
When you arrive for testing, you will need to pay a $30.00 proctoring fee.  Once you are logged into your ATI account and the proctor has entered the ATI TEAS AH password code, you will be required to make an online payment of $43.00 to ATI. (Prices are subject to change.)
Note:  This will require a credit card. No cash payment.  You will need to pay before proceeding with the exam.

What do I need to bring with me on the day I am schedule to test?
All examinees must have photo ID on testing day to be admitted. We will provide scratch paper and pencils for examinees. Cell Phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the Testing Center.


Do NOT bring:

  • Food or Drink 
  • Cell Phones 
  • Calculators or any electronic devices 
  • Backpacks, large bags, or purses 
  • Hats/Caps

    If you bring any of the above listed devices they will be checked and taken up.

What is a passing score?
Students completing the ATI RN Fundamentals exam are encouraged to earn a minimum of a Level 1 or above on the Assessment to meet Admission Criteria. 

How can I prepare for the ATI TEAS?
We strongly encourage applicants to utilize a combination of study guide and the on-line practice assessment which are available through ATI at www.atitesting.com. Listed below are several additional sites that offer study assistance for the ATI TEAS.

Not all exams are available between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. See exam schedule for specific dates and times.

Monday through Thursday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am to 12:00 noon
Closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
