Hayes, Jasmine

Jasmine is a College Navigator who pursued her higher education at East Texas A&M University, following her graduation from Mount Vernon High School. During her time at East Texas A&M, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications, with a focus on radio/television and speech. Throughout her career, Jasmine has gained valuable experience in diverse fields, including the radio industry, community engagement, event planning management, and office management.

Velazquez, Laurencio

My name is Laurencio Velazquez Jr. from Mount Vernon, TX. While I was in MVHS, I was chosen as a recipient of the Mount Vernon Rotary Club Motivational Scholarship to NTCC. I had no idea what I wanted to do but knew I wanted to graduate from college. I am a first-generation college student, and with the generous scholarship, I knew I could accomplish that.

Hunter is a College Navigator dedicated to helping students reach their academic goals. He graduated from Chapel Hill High School in Mount Pleasant and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management from Texas Tech University. After completing his degree, Hunter moved to College Station to work at Texas A&M University. He later returned to East Texas, where he remains an active member of the community. Outside of work, Hunter enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, golfing, and traveling.
