The Academic Cooperative in Biology courses, BIOL 2289 and BIOL 2389, integrate on-campus study with hands-on research experience in the biological sciences. In 2007, the department became an integral component of the NTCC Honors Program with the development of the BIOL 1406/HIST 2301 Interdisciplinary Seminar.
