The NTCC Film Club kicked off its Spring Film Series this Thursday. The series will include films by John Ford, the only director to win the Oscar for Best Direction four times (and who, along the way, made John Wayne a star). This week's feature was the western classic Stagecoach.
Film Club meets on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in Humanities 129. The following films will be shown at upcoming meetings:

NTCC is bringing the excitement of Mardi Gras to campus with Mardi Gras Madness, a weeklong celebration filled with traditions, fun, and community spirit. Open to all students, faculty, and staff, the festivities will take place March 10-13 during the activity period (12 PM - 1:30 PM) in the Student Union Building (SUB).

Northeast Texas Community College would like to recognize all the Area Athletic Trainers who go above and beyond to take care of the athletes they serve. March is designated at National Athletic Training Month and this year the slogan is “Champions in Healthcare”. From middle school to high school, to college, and Professional sports, and now many other non-traditional settings Athletic Trainers are here to care for athletes of all ages.

NTCC Foundation scholarship applications are officially
Northeast Texas Community College has entered the next phase of the search for its sixth president. Applications for the position were accepted from January 6th through February 21st. According to Amy Adkins, Executive Director of Human Resources, 64 individuals submitted complete applications for the position.

The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees met for its regular February meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 25th. Vice Chairman Russell East led the meeting in the absence of Chairman Robin Sharp. All other members were present.
