Bacterial Meningitis Information

Texas law requires students attending colleges and universities to be vaccinated against Bacterial Meningitis if they are under the age of 22. The Texas Department of State Health Services website explains the law and outlines the minimum vaccination requirements for college enrollment.

If you have reason to object to the requirement and wish to request an exemption, please complete the Exemption from Meningococcal Vaccination Requirements for Reasons of Conscience provided by DSHS. Once you’ve completed the form, print it out, sign it, and submit it in the same manner as the proof of vaccination.

Submitting your documentation:

Vaccination records or exemption affidavits should be emailed to admissions@ntcc.edu  or faxed to 903-434-4432. Documents may also be hand-delivered to the Admissions Office, located in the Student Services Center on the main campus. Please be sure to include the student’s name and ID number for proper assignment.
