iCan Kids Discovery College underway

Isabel Gonzales of Mount Pleasant participates in the Robotics class at the Northeast Texas Community College iCan Kids Discovery College at the Hanson-Sewell Center in Pittsburg. She is a participant in the first session of the program, which runs June 6-16. There is still time to register for the second session of the iCan Kids Discovery College, which will be held at the Elizabeth H. Whatley Agriculture Center across the main NTCC campus June 20-30. The program is for kids ages 8-15 and sessions range from $59-$99 each. Students can choose from Creative Canvas Painting, Multicultural Dance, Keyboarding and Internet Safety, Sculpting, Tumbling, Video Game Design, The Mad Scientist and Robotics. There will also be a special Cooking with Chef Reeves course for ages 10-15 at the NTCC Culinary Arts School in downtown Pittsburg. The cost of the cooking class is $119.
