  • High School courses: Advanced Plant Science or Advanced Animal Science or related discipline
  • Both courses have course content and materials delivered through Blackboard and ICEV online curriculum. 

Experience and other Qualifications Required: 

  • 3 years teaching experience preferred with high school students in advanced classes.
  • Top candidates will have experience in Blackboa

Ranch Manager

Purpose:

The Ranch Manager is responsible for working with college faculty to assist in facilitating labs at the college ranch. The Ranch Manager is responsible for oversight of the overall grounds and maintenance of the Northeast Texas Community College Demonstration Ranch. This individual will be responsible for the care of the NTCC livestock herd, and will make recommendations toward herd management. As Ranch Manager, he/she will be responsible for pasture management, to include, but not limited to spraying, fertilizing, mowing, and hay baling.

This position will teach assigned, college-level Agriculture courses embedded at a designated high school in NTCC's service delivery area.

Experience and Other Qualifications Required:

  • Master's degree in Agriculture or Master's degree + 18 graduate hours in Agriculture required.
  • At least 5 years industry experience and post-secondary teaching experience preferred.

Fall Decorating Workshop

Need new ideas for decorating your home for the fall?  Join us for a series of two class sessions for new and fresh ideas for preparing your home for the Thanksgiving holidays.  Participants will create and take home two fall decor items to display to get your home ready for holiday guests.  

Classes are Tuesday, Nov 10th and Nov 17th from 6:00 - 7:30 PM at the Elizabeth Hoggatt Whatley Agriculture Center on the main NTCC campus.
