Description of Job Duties:
- Teach assigned courses (EDUC 1301 and EDUC 2301) in accordance with the college's curriculum and learning objectives, in both face to face and online modalities (8 week and 16 week formats)
- Deliver effective lesson plans
- Utilize teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment
Experience and Other Qualifications Required:
- Masters degree with 18 graduate hours in Education required
- Experience teaching in K-12 and higher education, face to face and online setting, 8 and 16 week courses
- Proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS) - Blackboard
- Certifications relevant to the course content (TX Teaching Certification)
- Experience developing and delivering online course content
- Competency in educational technologies
- Excellent communication skills
