Malorey Davis is a proud Chapel Hill High School and Tyler Junior College alumnus. She is an accomplished stagehand and technician who has worked with several venues and organizations across Northeast Texas. She holds an Associates of Theatre from Tyler Junior College and a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Malorey has worked behind the scenes in lighting, sound, video, set carpentry, and running crews for upwards of 45 theatrical productions. As a technician, she has worked with a variety of local and traveling production companies. She participated in several productions of the Texas Rose Festival ceremonies, as well as TJC Theatre and Dance productions, including Something Rotten, The Little Mermaid and The Nutcracker. She has worked with traveling crews on gigs involving Skillet, The Blue Man Group, Bob Dylan, Darlene Love, etc. She is thrilled to spend her work days surrounded by the compassion, talent, and creative spirits of her peers and students at Northeast Texas Community College.

Dr. Petrucka is an accomplished actress of the stage and screen, director, award winning and published playwright, and professor of theatre. She holds a doctorate from Texas Tech University, with an emphasis on acting, directing, and playwriting.

Film work includes supporting roles in Hallmark, Lifetime, and Disney movies, multiple commercials and industrial films. As a stage performer, she has acted regionally in the United States and overseas in both England and the Czech Republic. She has written multiple 10-minute, one-act, and full-length plays, two of which have been published by Next Stage Press. Her 10-minute play Skin Condition was selected by representatives from the Texas Educational Theatre Association as a finalist for the 2021 TxTEA conference. In 2015, she received the Faculty of Excellence award from Utah Valley University for her work as a theatre educator.

Dr. Petrucka is thrilled to be here at Northeast Texas Community College and honored to work with such talented students and incredible educators. Let’s make art happen, together!
