The Northeast Texas Community College Men’s Soccer staff was recently named Men’s South Region Staff of the Year for Division I Junior College institutions. This honor is a result of a vote by other coaches in the region who are also members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services program.
Gerald and Mary Lou Mowery recently gave $2,000 to support special projects at Northeast Texas Community College. The gift will help Honors Northeast sponsor the 2019 McGraw-Hill Poster Contest and it will also support the annual Honors film project. The Mowery’s are pictured presenting the gift to Dr. Jonathan McCullough (center), NTCC Executive Vice President for Advancement.
A message from our friends at Texas A&M University-Texarkana at NTCC
Ned and Margaret Muse, of Pittsburg, recently presented the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation with a check for $2,100 to establish a new travel scholarship. The Ned C. Muse and Margaret Haak-Muse Travel Scholarship will sponsor a student enrolled in an art class for NTCC’s summer travel study program. Next May, NTCC faculty members will accompany a group of students on a trip to Boston.
