Work4College program redefines access, affordability, and workforce readiness

At Northeast Texas Community College, an innovative program is reshaping how rural students access and succeed in higher education—while offering a model that could be replicated nationwide.

The Work4College Program combines early college exposure, structured employment, and financial support into a single, integrated pathway. Students can begin participating as early as the summer after their sophomore year of high school, gaining meaningful work experience on campus while building a financial foundation for college.

Work4College applications open for Summer 2026

The Work4College Application is officially OPEN for the Summer of 2026! The Work4College Program is a great way to attend NTCC without acquiring debt and experience hands-on learning by working in a department on campus. The application is available to fill out and submit online at www.Work4College.com. The deadline to apply is April 10, 2026.

Work4College receives $10,000 donation from Your Philanthropy

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $10,000 grant from Your Philanthropy in Tyler, Texas. The donation will provide scholarships for 10 students in the Work4College Program. Work4College celebrates another successful year with end-of-summer luncheon

The NTCC Work4College Program celebrated the end of summer with its annual appreciation luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 6th. Work4College donors, supervisors, students and their families attended the event in the Student Union Building. This is the 11th year of the program, and more than 80 students participated.
