Members of the Morris County Retired School Employee Association recently visited Northeast Texas Community College for their April meeting. The group presented the NTCC Foundation with a $500 check to support the Work4College Program (pictured). The funds contributed towards NTCC's East Texas Giving Day total, which raised $291,679 during April. The Mount Pleasant High School Class of 1965 recently donated $501.87 to the NTCC Foundation to support the Work4College program, sponsoring a student for the upcoming summer term.

Representing the class, Betty Brock and Mavis Brush presented the check to Nita May, NTCC Director of Development.

At Northeast Texas Community College, an innovative program is reshaping how rural students access and succeed in higher education—while offering a model that could be replicated nationwide.

The Work4College Program combines early college exposure, structured employment, and financial support into a single, integrated pathway. Students can begin participating as early as the summer after their sophomore year of high school, gaining meaningful work experience on campus while building a financial foundation for college.

The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Work4College Program recently hosted an interactive etiquette class for students. More than 100 participants attended the session, which focused on building confidence and professionalism in formal settings. In addition to current Work4College students, members of NTCC Eagles Athletics teams also participated.

Time is running out! The deadline to apply for the Work4College Program for Summer 2026 is April 10, 2026—and students are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible.

The Work4College Application is officially OPEN for the Summer of 2026! The Work4College Program is a great way to attend NTCC without acquiring debt and experience hands-on learning by working in a department on campus. The application is available to fill out and submit online at www.Work4College.com. The deadline to apply is April 10, 2026.

The donation will provide scholarships for 10 students in the Work4College Program. The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation held its annual Golf Classic on Monday, Oct. 27th at Daingerfield Country Club. The tournament raised over $11,000 to support the NTCC Work4College Program.

Welcome home, Eagles! Northeast Texas Community College teamed up with the Living Truth Fellowship, the Mount Pleasant Titus County Chamber of Commerce and Titus Regional Medical Center this week to host a free cookout lunch for dorm residents and their families on move-in day.

The NTCC Work4College Program celebrated the end of summer with its annual appreciation luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 6th. Work4College donors, supervisors, students and their families attended the event in the Student Union Building. This is the 11th year of the program, and more than 80 students participated.
