Titus Regional Medical Center has donated $1,000 to Northeast Texas Community College to provide CPR certification for all first-year students in the college’s Work4College program. The training, taught by NTCC EMS instructors through the American Heart Association, includes adult, child, and infant CPR, as well as AED use.

Students in the NTCC Work4College Program participated in the Money Matters financial literacy simulation fair this Thursday in the Student Union Building. The event, sponsored by Texas Heritage National Bank, is an exciting, interactive exercise to help students learn more about managing their personal finances.

Funeral Services Education at Northeast Texas Community College is one of the college's largest and fastest-growing programs. Instruction is almost completely online, with students being placed in hands-on internships in their own communities across the country. The experience culminates with a clinical week on the NTCC campus prior to graduation, where students get to meet their classmates and instructors face-to-face and practice the skills they have learned.
The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a check for $20,000 from the Texas Pioneer Foundation. The funds will be used to support NTCC's innovative Work4College Program. Northeast Texas Community College kicked off Independence Day a little early with a fun and festive picnic on Thursday, July 3rd at the Eagle’s Nest outside the Student Union Building. The event drew a great crowd of students, faculty, staff, and guests from the Ignite Youth Club in Mount Pleasant, all ready to celebrate in their patriotic gear.
