Northeast Texas Community College goalkeeper Elena Roach made an immediate impact in her freshman campaign, earning First Team All-Region recognition after a remarkable season between the posts.
Roach appeared in 13 of the team’s 16 matches—starting all 13—and recorded an impressive 171 saves, showcasing her consistency, athleticism, and reliability. She finished the year with a strong .774 save percentage, anchoring the NTCC defense throughout the season.
The Northeast Texas Community College Culinary Arts program is bringing its expertise to downtown Daingerfield with a brand-new continuing education series, Elevate the Holidays, set for December 2-4 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The hands-on classes will take place at 104 Webb Street, in the building formerly home to Mugshots restaurant.
Northeast Texas Community College hosted a special Veterans Day Cookout on Tuesday, November 11th, bringing together students, faculty and staff to honor the brave men and women who have served our nation. The event, held at the Eagles Nest Pavilion, drew a large crowd who came to enjoy food, fellowship, and heartfelt appreciation for veterans and their families.

Written and directed by Dr. Page Petrucka, this fast-paced comedy transports audiences to a 1940s radio studio where chaos, creativity, and Christmas cheer collide. It’s the perfect way to kick off the season with laughter and nostalgia!
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at Northeast Texas Community College will welcome the East Texas Men in Harmony on Saturday, November 22 at 7:30 p.m. as part of its Sounds of Northeast concert series.
