Northeast Texas Community College will host its annual Easter Bash on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the NTCC Athletics Complex, offering a fun-filled afternoon for students, employees, and the community.
The event will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. and feature a large-scale Easter egg hunt with 1,000 colorful eggs filled with candy and surprises scattered across the field. Attendees are encouraged to bring baskets and arrive early to be ready for the start of the hunt.
Alpha Mu Chi, Northeast Texas Community College’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa set a new chapter record at the recent Texas Regional Convention held in Fort Worth, coming away with 38 awards.
The chapter was especially delighted to see Dr. Kevin Rose inducted into the Texas Hall of Honor for College Presidents and Dr. Anna Ingram inducted into the Texas Hall of Honor for Outstanding Administrators.

The Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo team headed to the second Spring Rodeo of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region season hosted by East Texas A&M University. The Rodeo was held at the new Spur Expo located in Commerce, Texas March 20th and 21st.

Dr. Chris McAllister and four NTCC Independent Research Students, Xenia Esparza, Estefani Garcia, Jośe Fuentes, and Cecilia Phan traveled over Spring Break (Mar. 13-17, 2026) to Black Rock, Arkansas, to conduct research on fish parasites.
